Which navigation system?!?

black friday is coming up and navi systems are going on sale, the two that i want that are in my price range are the TomTom One LE, and the Garmin c330, which came out 2 years ago. I dont need mp3, pictures, blue tooth, i just need a good navigator. They both have at least 5million POI and voice directions, but heres my issue: little is known about the tomtom one LE, and the garmin c330 came out 2 years ago, would the information be 2 years old or does a navigation system update itself? Please stick to these 2 navi systems or one in the black friday price range (under $180) thanks!

Which navigation system?!?
Found your question very interesting. I bought a TT One 3rd Edition in the last 3 weeks. Although I am having a lot of fun learning about it, there are some things I don;t care for such as not being able to put in more than one stop in a trip.

Apparently with the LE, you can add more than one stop.

With the 3rd edition, you update your maps on the computer whenever you want to or whenever they become available.

Apparently the LE is only available thru Best Buy so there isn't a lot about it on the web and of course you can't compare prices with other retailers.

I found the following discussion board which may be of interest to you.

Reply:My aunt and uncle have a TomTom and have never gotten lost or led down the wrong road.
Reply:As for the map information - It depends on when nav system were manufactured. If those nav system were sitting on the retailers shelf for 2 years then the maps are outdated.

And no the nav system will not update itself. You will need to order updated maps from the manufaturers to update your nav system. The updates comes in CDs or DVDs and you just have to plug ur nav system to your computer via a USB cable to update it.

I still have my Garmin 2620 and has worked well for me.
