Gap between two front teeth, options and questions?

http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g15/so...

heres a picture. First of all, braces isnt really an option for me..Before I asked about the gap and someone mentioned that it was because i had a low frenum and if i had surgery and moved it upward the gap would close...does this hurt? and how much does it cost?

Thankyou in advance.

I read some other questions and answers and another person mentioned that their dentist "filled" in the gap, how much would this cost?

if frenum is low tendency is a gap. frenectomy is the cutting of the frenum its a simple procedure this is very important if you want the gap to stop to get bigger. then after you have a lot of choices to close that gap like braces, composite veneers, veneers, lumineers and crowns but if you are young. is your age between 14 and 30 i suggest braces longer process but it will also fix the crowding and crooked teeth you have that i saw on your picture.
Reply:Keep pushing them together with your tongue.
Reply:take a small rubber band and place it around the two teeth, eventually the gap will close. im no dentist but had a friend who had the same type of gap and did this. not sure how long it took but she told me it worked. i wouldnt apply too much pressure though. dont make it uncomfortable.
Reply:The price depends on the case. It's minor so it wouldn't be that expensive and the surgery you are referring to is restoration. i hope that helps!
Reply:I have that too but I have braces. I will have braces on, then have a surgery to remove the extra tissue in there, then I will put the braces back on, and then the gap will/should be gone.
