When I try to smile with teeth I look ugly? any advice on how to fix it?

Its hard to get people interested in me. Whenever I am on dating service with my profile picture, only chubby people or or othy ugly type (not athletic) wants to talk with me. I feel little bit like handicapped. I have always problem with smiling on pictuers. Whenever I smile and look at myself on pic, I get bad impression. the only time I do not get bad impression is when I look at the mirror. Any piece od advice?

Try not to part your lips too much.





Showing a little teeth is much better than opening your whole mouth up when you smile. Try to place your lips in a manner where the smile will look decent and applealing to you/others.

Reply:First off, have someone else take the picture. I bet the weird angle from you holding the camera is a lot of it. Then pose naturally in front of something besides a boring wall. Go outside and play with the dog or sit against a tree or something. Think senior pics but more natural =) And you don't have an ugly smile at all! But changing just those things might turn out a bit better pics... Good luck!

Reply:I really don't think that you look all that bad!!! What sometimes hurts people when they smile in general, is that if they force it, it makes the picture look all wrong- myself included- it just makes the picture look fake and makes you look retarded.





My suggestions is try to laugh as you are taking a picture- that will give you a natural smile and such. Or just think of something really funny...and let a natural smile come to your face. It helps me all the time!

Reply:i used to have the same problem, i smiled and it looked so bad!! then i went to the dentist and they asked me to open my mouth and bite down so they could see my teeth. it turned out i hate a backwards bite. (my top teeth at the front were behind my bottom teeth.) but your top teeth should be in front. so go to the mirror and check for your self.

Reply:just stick with what u got buddy. i used to feel the same way, but then i realized it doesnt matter wut people think in the end. the one who you are meant to be with will accept you for who you are and stay with you till the end. if you feel insecure bout ur looks, try something new. get a new hairstyle or new threads. i dont see a problem. i just think u are havin some bad luck with girls at the moment
