Holes and sores in mouth?

I have had a extremely painful mouth for several weeks now. It started with what seems to be a canker sore just under my tongue by the last molars so it rubs against the tooth. Any tongue movement at all is very painful. Then I started to develop cankers in the front of my mouth between the inside of my lip and bottom teeth. But now i have noticed that they are actually large holes just underneath the tooth. To make things worse i have 4 of these all through the bottom gum. These 4 holes plus the sores on my tongue(another one is appearing on the other side of the tongue) makes for an extremely painful time while trying to eat, drink or even swallow. There are 2 things that I think could've caused these: I went to the dentist and got several molds, x-rays and pictures taken. I had lots of things put in to my mouth. Also around that time, I had tried to whiten my teeth with Crest Whitening strips. I need help.

too much oral?
Reply:Those "holes" are infected with bacteria. You can either start yourself on an intensive regimen of gargling with mouthwash atleast twice a day- preferably after anything you eat or drink(except plain water) or you can go to the Doc for something stronger.

Frankly, with that level of damage I recommend going to the doc for a something stronger.

In college I had a canker sore get out of control and they gave me a suspension of tetracycline. Burned like hell especially on the damaged spot, but did the job.
Reply:Whoa, go see a doctor asap. Holes in your gums is serious business. You may have something very very serious, see a doctor now.
