Teething Question?

Ok, so I just called and checked on my son (he's at my friends house today while I'm at work). She said he's kinda cranky, but that comes with it... I'm like comes with WHAT? She said, didn't you know he has a tooth?!?! ACK! I had no idea! He hasn't been fussy or anything. She also said to be prepared, I'll probably wake up tomorrow morning to see another tooth pushed thru - she can feel it trying to poke thru now.





Sorry, I'm excited, he's my first baby and these are his first teeth, lol





Anyways..... my question is - will getting his teeth in make him really cranky for a few days or will he be okay? We are getting our pictures taken tomorrow (our first professional pictures together) and I don't want to take him if he's going to be fussy or cranky, I really want these pictures to turn out well. Would I be better off waiting for a few weeks or do you think he'll be okay by tomorrow afternoon?

Teething Question?
My grandson is just cutting teeth also. He isn't to fussy, just when he is sleepy. If you decide to go, take him after he has had his nap otherwise he may be to fussy. Good luck. You sound like a really good mother to be so excited.
Reply:Teething can last days or months it all depends on how fast the teeth are coming in. Sometimes it can take awhile just for 1 tooth to come through. As far a crankiness it depends on the baby some get very cranky and some don't. I wish you the best of luck.
Reply:If he hasn't been fussy so far, he probably won't be tomorrow either.





He probably will have some (or a lot) of drooling as more and more teeth poke through. He could even get a fever, a diaper rash, and/or a rash around his mouth and on his neck from all the drooling. All these things are common when teething, but not all of them occur.





Picture studios are great at getting baby to smile, even if he's fussy. Just make sure he's clean and well fed beforehand.

Great isn't it!!!!!! now they have teeth, when they chew on your finger it hurts, he thinks its funny!!!!!!!!!!!!
