Picture Day....?

Picture day is tomorrow, and I have braces, so should I show my teeth or no?

Be yourself. If you are to see yourself 20 years from now, would seeing braces make you remember memories? If the memories are good, go and show everything you've got! :-) Ignore what other people think about you; you are you and will never have to be (and will not be) someone else or a way another person feels you should look.

Reply:Of course! This will be a time in your life that you hate not, but in a few years when you have no braces you will look back at that picture and remember that day forever~LOL I still look back at mine and smile beautifully
Reply:Yes - your school picture is a part of your history, so when your kids have to get braces you can say, "See, I had to wear them, now stop complaining or I'll give you something to complain about!"





It's all part of being a parent. You have to do your part to prepare, even now while you're in school.

Reply:Sure! I'm in my late 30's and got my braces off about a year ago after about 2 years. It's a real kick to look back at pictures where I had them. Including pictures with my newborn baby (so, you see, it's not the end of the world to have braces in a photo!).
Reply:Yeah! You should be remembered as the way you were in 2006. If people make fun, tell them to back off, and that at least you'll have straighter teeth than them! Braces are'nt supposed to be ashamed of, but, proud of having future straight teeth! Good luck having a great picture!

Reply:Show your teeth. You'll look back and smile at that picture some day. As long as we're on the subject, wear a shirt that doesn't have prints or patterns. A straight bold color will remain classic forever.

Reply:If you are in middle/high school- yes- people surprizing think they are cool! but if you can't smile while showing your teeth very good-like me- then do what you think is comfortable
