I had tooth #19 extracted with a bone graft about 12 hours ago. I am still having some bleeding (I expect that is normal) but the extraction site has bubbled over. I hate to call and bother the surgeon, but how MUCH of a bubble is normal?
I checked online to see if there were pictures of post op procedures, but couldn't find them. Does anyone know if the site should be closer to flat or is this (almost the size/height of the surrounding teeth) to be expected?
I am not sure if I should be biting on gauze to help it compress or if it doesn't need TO compress.
Thanks for your insight
Blood clot post op tooth extraction - What should it look like?
I had gauze on for a few days when I had an operation, I think you should leave it in. It stinks when you take it out but it does the trick. Didn't they advise you?
