I look different in a mirror than in a picture. Its not in my head.?

Ok so this has pissed me off for a while now, and I just figured id post it up and see if anyone has a similar problem. Whenever I look in a mirror or me through a camcorder I look ok. But when I take a picture of myself straight forward it looks like my jaw goes one way, my teeth go another, and my ears are ridiculously crooked, oh and I have a bathroom mirror with 3 mirrors, and I opened the outside two and looked at one which showed a reflection of me through the other mirror, and I look worse there than in a picture. Now Does anyone know if I look more like the person in the camcorder or in the picture, because honestly I look terrible in pictures

I have the same problem too, I look terrible in most pictures but when I view me on a camcorder I look damn hot! The reasoning is pictures are still frame, you can be making a weird face, sitting\standing funny, move the wrong way, anything. The picture takes a picture of the moment and the moment can just not be right not you. Camcorders take the full video so you see it as you would she in normal life. Mirrors can be very tricky, some mirrors can be made with crappy material, not made right at all,ect. Also lighting in the room with the mirror could be a factor, so you can't always trust them. And sometimes if you look at something for too long you start to see deformities, something that really isn't there or not that bad but from looking so hard your eyes start to play tricks on you and you get paranoid. Believe me hun you got nothing to worry about, if you look for a problem your bound to find one. If you really want to know what you look like ask people around you, they see the truth. {but don't ask an asshole male that will say something to make you upset, they never help. Lol} I hope I helped :-)

i dont really worry about it too much though because


i think, the people you see everyday (like friends) to me they look pretty much the same everyday, and in pictures and stuff, so i think its all in my head!

Reply:When you look in your mirror, you are not seeing what other people see. The image is flipped left to right, it's a mirror image!
