Does any one know who painted the weird picture of the mouths with teeth on stalks in the Tate.
Painting in the Tate Modern London.?
I think you may be talking about the Francis Bacon painting 'Three Studies for Figures at the Base of a Crucifixion' (1944) -

Reply:you're welcome, its an amazing piece, i reckon one of the greatest artworks of the last century Report It
Reply:No but I know who painted the ceiling of the mens washroom.
Reply:Anything with Tate attached to it is fantastic
Reply:I thought I knew but as I set to type the name, guess what?
Reply:Not sure which one you mean but it could be a Salvador Dali, sounds like his stuff.
Reply:Not sure that it is Francis Bacon, most of his painting are vaguelly human or animal. Think I know the painting, it is on display in the surrealist gallery, but its not dali. Suggest you go online to tate modern and search surrealism. You will then get the option to define the search, if you choose collections or on display and tate modern you will be able to view relevant selection of paintings. Hope this helps
